Finally Friday...

Two days before I was to give birth I went to Seattle...with swollen feet...that would only fit in clogs...that apparently I had to wear with socks pulled up...and a tiny backpack...and an ill fitting jumper...and stand in front of the Space Needle...all for the love of Olympic Stars on Ice*.
*The reason we went to the Olympic Stars on Ice two days before I was to give birth is because I had free tickets...tickets that I had won at a talk show. There used to be a talk show in Seattle and I went to sit in the audience with my mom and cousins. The guests that day were figure skaters from the 2002 Olympic Games. At the end of the show they started handing out free tickets to the upcoming Olympic Stars on Ice performance. I told Olympic medalist Elvis Stojko that I would name my first born Elvis if he gave me his tickets. He did...I didn't...let's hope he doesn't read Oh Happy Days.
