We Are Family...

Last weekend we took a mini vacation to Whitefish, MT (awww Whitefish) to attend the marriage of my cousin Sarah to Chris. It was a fabulous day not only because of all the family and love and laughter involved, but because of the weather. Mother Nature totally pulled out all the stops for the newlyweds. The temperature was almost 70 degrees, the leaves were golden, and the lake was sparkling. It was a total chamber of commerce day. And the wedding was equally beautiful with all kinds of special touches. Such a loving fun family we all have!

The happy bride and groom...
Father and Daughter...
Nana with her cousins (the bride's uncles) Mark and Doug...
Dancing Queens...
Still dancing after 39 years of marriage...
Still dancing after almost 60 years of marriage (the bride's grandparents Eileen and Torv)...now that's impressive...
Lena wore us all out. She danced almost every song with anyone who was willing...
Who doesn't love the Chicken Dance? Tom (the bride's uncle) and Lena strut their stuff...
Annika and her Papa...
Tom and Ruby cut a rug. Ruby is the bride's great aunt...Torv's 94 year old sister...
A wedding wouldn't be a wedding without a conga line to "We are Family). Torv leads the troops...
The bride's happy parents...Carla and Lyle...
Mark, Mackenzie and Justin...the bride's cousin...you all remember Mack and Justin from our other MT wedding...
Lance shows Molly there is more than one way to conga. Lance is Molly's boyfriend. Molly is the bride's sister. Molly caught the bouquet. Well she didn't so much catch it as it was thrown directly at her and whacked her in the arm when she wasn't really looking. Technicalities.
And the beautiful bride...
Thank you Sarah and Chris for sharing your special day with us. Marriage is a fun journey and I know you two will make the most of it!
