June Report...

I am happy to report that June has been filled with fun, fun, and more fun.  I would like to report that June has been filled with sun, sun, and more sun, but Mother Nature is a little slow on the upstart this year.  However, today is sunny and warm so I have high hopes.  Don't let me down girl.

I am happy to report that we went camping already.  We did not get a chance last summer (unless you count in the backyard when all our furniture had been moved out of the house...which I don't) so we were really excited.  It was a fabulous four days and a great way to spend Father's Day.  Not to mention it was at the beach!

Two foot long meat sticks and Tillamook squeakie cheese.  Does summer get much better than that?

I am  happy to report that one weekend we hopped a northbound train and visited our old stomping grounds.  Thanks to all of our friends that took the time to reconnect with us and thank you to the Hensley's for their fabulous hospitality.
I am happy to report that while in Poulsbo, Jason competed in (and completed) his first triathlon.  It was a 3 mile kayak, 12 mile moutain bike, and 3 mile trail run.  He rocked it and came in 4th overall!!!

I am happy to report that Lena sang a solo (with backup band from her classmates) in front of about 170 kids and parents.  She did awesome.  Who knew shy little Lena had it in her?!

I am happy to report that after training for three months with Girls on the Run, Lena completed a 5k running race.  She had great support from her coaches, teammates, and running buddy.

I am happy to report that Jaden and Kim came for a weekend visit.  Giggles were had by all!

I am happy to report that fresh local strawberries were picked and consumed.

I am happy to report that the Lovett Family is working hard to hone their circus skills.

And finally I am happy to report that the girls are attending day camp this week and loving it.  It is a drama camp with a bunch of other stuff mixed in.  Annika even got peed on by a dog today.  The strangest things happen at camp!!

Overall I think June receives an A+ on her report card.  Now bring on July!!!
