Today our Lena turns 10 years old!! In the past 10 years she has grown into a funny, smart, caring, thoughtful young lady. Everyday she dips her toe a little further into the independence pool. In fact, this past weekend, she participated in a two day 18 mile cattle drive, riding her Doc all the way. This confidence continues to amaze us. Today was a bit of an unconventional birthday as we flew back from Montana. However, flying on your birthday does have its special perks...like a captain-led round of Happy Birthday sung by all the passengers to you and another little girl on the plane who was also turning 10. We love you Lena and can't wait to see what double digits bring!
