Look Ma No Tooth...

She didn't pull it...but she wanted to...

Now that Annika has that tooth out of the way she has instantly become older. We let the girls text each other between our phones the other day and as Lena lounged on the couch texting I found Annika up in her room, door closed, shade pulled, lights off, under the covers. When I asked her what she was doing she said, "Texting!". What a glimpse into our future..oy! We then let the girls play with our old phones (batteries out) and Annika has stayed up two nights in a row "getting my texting done". This after Jason said she couldn't have her phone in bed with her, but she asked me on the sly because I didn't know that he had made that rule...double oy!! Then there was yesterday. Yesterday Annika stayed home from school with a cough due to cold. I made her a cup of tea with honey, she laid on the couch, got her purse out, started texting and declared, "Texting and tea. I am a real woman now!"...triple oy!!! Side note: My clever husband later responds, "What makes her a real woman? Drinking tea or laying on the couch?" Hahahahaha...would you like fish or fish for dinner honey?
