He Took it in Stride...

Today Jason came, saw, and conquered. He looked at 26.2 miles and laughed in its face. In other words...he ran the Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon. The whole thing. And he finished!!! He finished strong (with a wee bit of a leg cramp even...OK so maybe he'll tell you it was more than a wee bit, but he still overcame) with a time of 3 hours and 49minutes. And he is not totally ruling out doing it again. Perhaps he was born to run!

It's official...with a medal and all...
I am sure Jason will tell you that he couldn't have done it without his cheerleaders. We were able to be at two spots along the course yelling and whistling and waving our signs...
He may or may not have followed our advice, but considering he did awesome I am thinking he did...
Cheerleading is hard work...you don't want to cool down too quickly afterwards...
You rock (and roll) Jason...
Marathoning is hard work. Training for a marathon is even harder. I should know...I did one once and I didn't really train so I know the commitment of time and energy it takes to train properly. We are so very proud of you Jason. Can I make a suggestion for your next one...Kauai in September perhaps?!
