And the Celebration Continues...

Lena had a couple of choices on what she could do for her birthday weekend. We could either go participate in a bike festival sponsored by Fat Tire Brewery (hmmm...wonder which parent had that idea?) or go camping. Her choice was camping because bike riding and beer makes her sleepy. We headed out Friday evening and had a great time. The weather wasn't hot, but it was pleasant and the campsite was great. We went on a peaceful hike and the girls biked around the campsite. A fun birthday weekend had by all!

Daddy would gladly give up a weekend of bikes and beer for a weekend of hikes and daughters...

The girls enjoyed the hiking/camping experience so much that Jason is going to take them on a mini backcountry camping trip next month. It will be very similar to "Man vs. Wild" only with more pink!

Lena's birthday celebration will continue to continue on into this weekend. Her gymnastics party is still yet to come. Stay tuned for all the flip floppin' good times.
