I have started dying my own hair. I find it totally unacceptable for a 30 year old to have a few gray hairs and I figure I can do it myself. Just think of the money I will save!! Last Sunday I got my little $8 bottle (what a deal) and started my work. A half hour later I walked back upstairs and saw the following "crime" scene in our bedroom (right outside the bathroom door).
Yes, you are correct, that is permanent hair dye...on light colored carpet...ALL over. I truly have no idea how it happened. So I tried to fix it. I made it worse. So I tried to cut it out. I made it worse. So now I must embrace it. I figure I can do one of three things: a) draw a tiny chalk outline around it, make up a good story, and go with it; b) buy a fun rug and place it in the spot that rug really has no business being; c) leave a pile of dirty clothes on it at all times. I am still trying to decide.Jason only said three things:
1) him: Looks like you got a little hair dye on the carpet. me: Is it that noticeable? him: I noticed it!
2) It sure is a good thing the kids didn't do that!
3) Nice try. I see your plan. You are ruining things just so you can go get your hair done professionally. Clever!
Clever like a fox...if a fox had really bad aim when coloring his fiery mane!
