Finally Friday...

I usually reserve the Finally Friday segment for a funny picture, a joke-y picture if you will.  This week I don't have a joke-y picture.  This week I have some pictures of our Easter.  However, if I'm going to make a connection to Finally Friday I could say that our April weather (including Easter Sunday) has been kind of joke-y.  Like maybe Mother Nature is playing a big old joke-y joke on us.  Haha Mother Nature.  You're a regular laugh riot.  Degrees holding steady at about 48 are hilarious.  Sun that doesn't stay out for too long is hilarious.  Rain is hilarious.  Oh and that hail the other day...good one!  Don't get me wrong...I'm not bitter or anything, I just want to shed the mittens and down vest and throw on some sandals and a skirt.  I've tried to be on your side Mother Nature.  I've tried to send positive vibes and make the realization that you are only doing this to us because when it is 103 degrees in July people will appreciate it instead of complain.  I've got your back Mother Nature...now you warm mine!!

And with that (hang on, I don't want to twist my ankle as I step off my soap box, OK) the following pictures depict our Easter.  We hunted for eggs, had a scavenger hunt, solved puzzeling clues, took a hike, soaked in a hot springs, saw salmon flying through the air as they attempted to jump a waterfall, ate burgers and pasta and two desserts for dinner (yes two desserts waiter...even though when I ordered two desserts you said, "Really?  Two?" and when he saw me eating my salad he said, "Wow you really clobbered that salad!"  A girl's gotta keep up her strength man.  She did have a 60 minute car ride ahead of her.), and lastly we had a wonderful bonding family day.

 Having fun...
The last time we took this hike was April 11, 2006.  The following is a little comparison to solidify the fact that yes our little bunnies are indeed growing...
Easter Rocks!
