Moms On the Loose...

This past weekend my girlfriends (Andrea, Megan, Tina, and Lena...Momma Lena not to be confused with Daughter Lena) and I headed out to Pacific Beach for a weekend of no responsibilities. As we headed out of town were giddy with the realization that we only had to worry about ourselves. The weekend was filled with laughs, a walk on the beach, scrap booking, strawberry daiquiris, and great food. We even got a little wild by spinning a cookie on the beach in the truck, staying up until 11pm, and sleeping in until 8am!! Of course we have to give a "shout-out" to all the dads that stayed home and parented solo...those guys are swell!!

Jumping for joy over no responsibilities...(yes we can jump higher than that, but after 4 or 5 tries of getting the timing perfect we were a little winded)...
