Last week Nana (my mom) came to visit. The pretence was to celebrate her big milestone birthday (40? Yeah, that's the ticket), but there were lots of granddaughter bonding thrown in there as well. Over the weekend she and I went down to Portland, OR and picked up her best friend (they have known each other since college). We then headed out of town to
Skamania...a really nice lodge on the Columbia River. After we got there we found out that area is like the windsurfing capital of the world. Windsurfing capital of the world = WIND!!! For those of you from Montana, think fancy Browning. For those of you not from Montana...that is darn windy. However, we were able to brave the cold and wind from the inside of our fancy hotel and had a relaxing laugh-filled weekend.
When we got back the girls had fun having a slumber parties with Nana, going to
McDonald's with Nana, reading with Nana, playing with Nana, and all those great things that great
Nanas do. Thanks for coming Nana!!!!
Every species loves when Nana reads...

Take one...

Take two...

Take three...

Oh I give up! I can't get a good picture of those funny ladies!!!
