Yesterday we boiled up our eggs, broke out the newspaper, donned our aprons, and got to work. We splurged and bought the extra fancy glitter kit. One would think that egg dying/egg glittering would not be so difficult and it wasn't...except for the directions. There were about 10 different steps to this process. I was all, "Really? Does it really have to be this difficult?"
Apparently it does...but the results are
fabo!!
The artists at work...

Note
Annika's left hand..."I can dye my own egg, thank you very much"...

Don't shake that dye off your fingers too quickly, sister...that white carpet is very near...

The perfect pink egg...

Another beaut...

All done and ready for hiding...

A baker's dozen + 1. Lena wondered if after we found them could we please peel them and eat them with salt? After that we might just be having a glitteriest lips contest...

Last weekend a group of us got together for an early Easter brunch and some egg hunting. It was such a beautiful day...not only in the weather, but the friendships. Bring on summer, long days, and cookouts...I am ready!!!

I thought about the glitter but I figured the boys would prefer stickers. So I opted for stickers. I hope eating the eggs is as much fun as decorating.
