And We Are Off...

Lena, Annika, and I are headed to Chicago for a little fun in the sun, er, wind and rain. It is officially spring break and we are ready to rock, er, go to bed early and not eat out every single night. The last time I went to visit Mara in Chicago it was a ladies only trip and we stayed out until the sun came up. I have a feeling that this time the only way I will be seeing the sun rise is if one of the girls wakes up from a bad dream (and believe you me...waking mama up early enough to see a sunrise IS a bad dream!!). We are VERY excited, though, at the fact that we are going to visit the American Girl Doll store and have tea at their restaurant, that we are going to go to the zoo, that we are going to go to the Oprah store, and that we are going to get to spend oodles of time with Godmama Mara. Don't worry...you will be subjected to all the pictures of the afore mentioned activities upon our return. I have been using this trip as leverage for good behavior for quite some time now and finally Annika had had it. I was told tonight that she didn't want to hear any more about Chicago, "Stop talking about it!". So I will...until next week of course when you all get to hear ALL about it!!!! Until then...
