We Heart Mara and Mike...

This past weekend one of my best friends Mara and her boyfriend Mike came for the weekend. Mike was interviewing at a Seattle hospital for his orthopedic surgeon fellowship that starts next year. I tried my hardest to whoo them with wonderfully hearty breakfasts, a day in Port Townsend, and of course as much Annika and Lena face time as they could handle. We'll have to see where the next year takes them, but I am sure hoping it is west!!!

On a side note...the school auction that I co-chaired happened this past Friday as well. It was a fabulous night, super fun, and very successful. When all was said and done we profited around $34,000!! WOW!!! I can't wait for next year!!
