Lena Speak #8...

Lena is in a biliteral kindergarten class...learning both English and Spanish. Yesterday she was singing a song in Spanish at the dinner table and she said a word in Spanish that sounded oddly exactly the same as its English counterpart. Jason asked her if that word is pronounced the same in both languages. Now I was under the impression that Mrs. Rinks was her kinder teacher, but I think Nana is sneaking in and instructing the rug rats because her answer was..."Yes. You say it the same...just A LOT louder!" (and in Nana's case...and I can attest to this having gone to Spanish speaking countries with her...A LOT slooooower).
