Just Makin' Up Words...

This year we had ChillEaster. That is a fancy made up word for "we were lazy on Easter". Since we had just returned from Hawaii...did I mention we went to Hawaii? Oh we did and it was aaawwweeesome. Anyhoo...since we had just returned from Hawaii we were still sort of adjusting to getting the right amount of sleep and therefore didn't go all out for Easter. The girls did hunt for eggs and they did have their annual scavenger hunt with the end results being a present, but that is about it. We had sandwiches instead of ham dinner. Sandwiches inquired my mother? In my defense, they were fancy sandwiches. Fandwiches if you will. Like I said, we had ChillEaster and nothing gets more ChillEaster than fandwiches!

On the hunt. And yes they are using their Halloween bags as Easter baskets. Every year I tell myself I am going to make some fantastic Easter baskets and every year I don't. Halloween bags are a step up from the Victoria's Secret bag they used one year. Maybe that's the secret!
Lena and Annika found the Easter Bunny. Oh wait...that's just a deaf dog...

On a totally separate note...I was watching a video of my friend Tania's (over at Summertime Girl) cutie-pie daughter toddle around their house and I actually had the thought "Oh how cute. I don't have anything to blog about today. Maybe if I had another baby I would have more to blog about!" Can someone please come over ASAP and slap me in the face? Thanks in advance (because even though I will be thankful, I might forget to say it because my face will be stinging).
