Slaptastic...

Just a moment ago there seemed to be some nastiness coming from upstairs. As I made it up to Annika's room I saw Lena giving her a good stare down. I asked Lena to go into the bathroom and brush her teeth and she said (imagine the whine), "But Moooom, Annika slapped me in the face. Like this!" and she proceeds to slap at my face. I back up and she tries again, "Like this!" I am quick though and would not let her slap me. I ushered her out of the room and told Annika not to slap her sister in the face. The following is Annika's defense:

"But we were kind of in a fight. I didn't want to slap her. I was just moving my arm like this (flails arm wildly in the air) and my arm just happened to move over and slap her in the face!"


Oh well that sounds like a total accident. By all means...slap away!!! And while we are talking about away...Calgon, can you take me there? You'd think they'd be nicer. I did give them ice cream...before dinner!


Now that's more like it...forced smiles of sisterly love...
