Get Your Goat...

As promised. Now I realize it isn't like you've never seen a goat before, but I bet you've never seen a bunch of pictures of one little mangy goat. One little mangy goat that is pretty close up and really quite tame (some may say rather bold). One little mangy, pretty close up, really quite tame, rather bold goat who just keeps wandering around waiting, waiting, waiting for a snack from the hikers. Which he never received. Poor goat. At one point, I am told, he started stamping his hoof and still didn't get thrown a chunk of granola bar. Darn those conscientious boys. Good thing he didn't get a good look at Ringo's meaty haunches and go in for the kill! And now the moment you have all been waiting for. Heeeeeeeeere's goaty...

Here is the side of a goat... Oh wait...now he is going that way...
Careful there Jason...
Hmmm...maybe this is where they keep the snacks, those stingy humans...
Now just when I think I have him figured out he zigs in another direction...
I predict this picture will become a classic much like the one of Steve Martin and the arrow...Ringo says, "Hold me back, Dad. Hold! Me! Back! Yeah, you better walk away Goat!"
Hey look...now it is Chris and a goat. Ah, maybe Chris wasn't the only one taking the pictures. Let the mocking begin...Nice haircut. Lay off man, I've been sick! (that one is for you Papa)...
I know, I know...I didn't put up all 26! pictures taken of the goat, but you get the drift. And now for some REALLY exciting news (not that the afore mentioned goat wasn't REALLY exciting), but...
My friend tall Ashley is in labor!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Some may say it is because I love my friend and I am just excited for her and her family. Some may say it is because I love babies and just want another one to be born. Some may say it is because my "baby" recently turned 5 years old, we have given away mostly all of our baby gear/attire and have pretty much come to the decision that this is it for our family. Some may say I am having little twinges of "oh wouldn't it be nice to have another baby, to feel the baby kick inside your belly, to have a newborn around with such great big sisters". Some may take a step back from all that crazy talk and look at our non-sleepless nights, at our no-diaper house, at our car that comfortably fits four, at our easy peasy vacations and say...maybe I'll just be perfectly happy flying to Boise and holding someone else's baby for a week straight. Some may say that is some smart talking!

Ummmmm....you're totally jinxing yourself giving away all your baby crap, sister! You're playing with FIRE I tell you! But...it would be GREAT for me to have a close friend (both physically and mentally) to have another tiny baby to hold and snuggle!!! So it wouldn't be the worst thing if you got knocked up again!
