The Millikans Are Coming, The Millikans Are Coming...

Technically the title should read, "The Millikans Came, The Millikans Came" but it sounded so much more catchy the first time. The Millikans are our good friends from back in the day. The day being about 7 years ago when there were four families (the Lovetts, the Millikans, the Dolvins, and the Martinsons) that all lived within 7 miles of each other and did all kinds of stuff together. Since then each and every one of us has moved to a new house in a new town and we are lucky to see each other every 3-4 months...the entire clan not being together as one since 3 years ago.

Anyway...Victoria, Dan, Isa, and Maddox hopped the ferry and came on over for the day/night last Saturday. The girls LOVE LOVE LOVE Isa. She is 8 years old and in their eyes the cat's pajamas. The ladies went for a long walk, the men went for a hard bike ride, and the kids played and played. We took in an outdoor concert and laughed a ton. We love those Millikans!

This weekend we will be experiencing an invasion of the east coast kind. Jason's best friend Chris is in Seattle for work training and has extended his trip to hang with us for a few days. I am already bracing myself for lots of college references, "dudes", "wickeds", and beer. Let the wicked good times begin, dude!
