Friday Night Lights...

I have come to realize that I really enjoy me some high school football. I don't know if it is the lure of the warm evenings, the hamburgers and hot dogs, the candy 2 minutes into the first quarter, the sense of community (two of our neighbor boys play on the team) or the way the kids try so hard, but I definitely enjoy it. I am pretty sure that it is not that fact that I really LOVE the game itself. In fact, at one point, I didn't even know the other team had scored a touch down. It might have been while I was getting the afore mentioned candy or maybe it was when I was pondering why the one cheerleader smiles so much more than the other eleven. Whatever the reason it is fun...RAH RAH RAH!!!

Just look at that pep band. Takes me back to the glory days of band presidenting and lead clarineting. Man was I ever cool? You don't have to actually answer that...unless it is to say, "Yes!"
