Go East Young Girls...

Tomorrow we make our annual pilgrimage east to Jason's old stomin' grounds. This year we will be spending time in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire visiting family and friends alike (and even one of my family members thrown in for good measure). But before we can do all the visiting we must get on an airplane. But before we get on an airplane we must drive to the airport. But before we drive to the airport we must leave our house. AND we have to leave our house at 4:30AM! 4:30AM! I'll say it once more in case you didn't quite catch the panic and desperation in my voice. 4:30AM! Momma doesn't really do 4:30AM. There was a time when pre-Momma did 4:30Am...like goin' to bed at 4:30Am. However, now Momma prefers about 4 more hours of sleep. Momma prefers to wear her pajamas about one hour after waking. I have already phoned in a request to my pastor friend Molly that she pray for no meltdowns at 30,000 feet (meltdowns on my part, not the kids). All kidding aside (and I was kidding about the meltdown, but not about the 4:30AM...did I mention that it is still dark out at 4:30Am? Well it is. At least that is what I have been told.) I love to travel and I especially love to travel with the girls and Jason because they are great little traveling companions. We are excited to get to New England for the leaf peeping, apple picking, lobster eating, Flat Bread Pizza scarfing, and all the Grammy KK kisses and hugs the girls can stand. It has been almost a year since the girls saw their Grammy KK so there should be a hearty reserve of kisses and hugs stored up.

This is what the girls look like on the west coast. Stay tuned to see if they look the same on the east coast...
Oh and I promise to take lots and lots of pictures. And I promise to let you all look at them when we get back. I can't promise witty comments, but I'll do my best. See ya when we see ya!
