Really? Seriously?

By now Lena, Annika, and I are barreling across the upper western half of the United States aboard a little train I like to call Amtrak. At this very moment we might be eating our breakfast in the dining car chattin' it up with some laid back country folk. We might have all fallen asleep at a decent hour the night before all nestled in our seats. We might not have been woken up at 1am in Spokane, WA while the other train hooked on to us. The new passengers that got on at each stop in the dark of night might have been quiet like mice so as not to rouse any of us from our slumber. We might have encountered really large bathrooms so when all of us squeeze in there together every time I have to go potty Annika doesn't have to stand on Lena's shoulders. The train might have been on time and we might have hopped into Nana and Papa's arms right at 11:30am...18 short hours after we started. All this positive thinking surely will pay off, right? Well...whether any of that goes the way I might have hoped, I know that my little travelers will do awesome and we'll have a fun experience regardless. And we'll be eagerly awaiting Jason's arrival to Montana. He is coming on Wednesday with the truck and the dogs. His trip might be even more fun because not only does he get to drive winter roads he gets to do so with two dogs who can't jump in or out of the back of the truck. Lift, hoist, grunt...good thing he has been doing all those pull-ups!!!

On a separate note...we are leaving Lulu home while we are in Montana. In the house...by herself...only to be checked on every other day. I am sure it will be fine. It will be fine, right? She won't rip down the Christmas tree, right? She won't shred the curtains, right? She won't systematically poke holes in the leather couch, right? She won't jump on the counter and peel a banana and start eating the insides, right? She is a good cat, right?

Really? Seriously? Apparently the water bottle in the background that is for the sole purpose of thwarting counter jumping isn't doing the trick...

I'm beginning to think you should have stuck to bringing back the multi-generational in-bred cats from your parents farm instead of getting a "local" cat...this one might be the wackiest-doodle of them all!
