Last weekend we headed to the tree farm and cut down a beauty. It is not the beauty below, but it sort of looks like that one. 
I have to admit...Lena did the majority of the tree trimming. I had to run to the store and when I got back she had the lights on and half the ornaments hung. Annika was helping for a bit, but the ornaments were all sappy from last year's tree and she wasn't real hip on that. We got them cleaned up, though, and then she proceeded to help out.Who couldn't use a little lift every now and then?
It was Lena's turn to place the star. It amazes me that they remember who placed it last year. They have minds like little steel traps.
The end result... 
Now...if you walked into our house today the tree wouldn't look quite so balanced. Lulu the Cat has successfully ripped down all the ornaments on the lower third of the tree so now he is rather top heavy. She's a helper that Lulu!
