That is Stone Soup for all of you that don't know first grade Spanish..which would include me. For a little while I thought Lena's class was doing a play about the soap that some dude named Pedro uses. However, it was not a play about soap. It was a play about stone soup and Lena was Narrator #1 (or numero uno for those playing at home) along with two other classmates. As par for the course, she approached her job very seriously...no smile was cracked the entire time. She wore a little bonnet with a string and throughout the entire performance she stroked and fiddled with the tie. It reminded me of another member of our family (who shall remain nameless) that when nervous/perplexed/bored scrapes scrapes scrapes his whiskers. You'd think I was living with an emery board...scrape scrape scrape. Anyhoo...Lena did awesome and when I asked her if she was nervous she said, "No...I just imagined no one was there!" Good technique!
Explaining the gist of the story...

I think the first is Annika and the second is Lena...its in the eyes. I'm going to go take all my kids pictures out of the frames and write their names on the back, because I too think..."Oh, I will never forget that!"
