Gypsies In the Palace...

Since Nana and Papa Horse and Cow camp was officially underway, Jason and I took the opportunity to head for the hills. The hills, in this case, being Whitefish, Montana. While the kids are away, Mommy and Daddy (and two of their most favorite people Molly and Allen) will play.

They might be found drinking margaritas at Jason's old stomping ground in East Glacier...
They might be found playing games late into the night (Molly is such a gamer that she even dons a headlamp to get a leg up on the rest of us)...
They might be found "letting" Molly win at Catan...
They might be found laughing those kind of laughs that only old friends can do. You know the kinds of laughs that have no sounds and make your stomach hurt afterwards. You know the kinds of laughs that the next day aren't really all that funny, but when they were happening you can hardly breath...
They might be found meeting up with their childhood friend Ashley and her baby Bryant...
They might be found totally being smitten with baby Bryant...quite possibly the cutest (and chillest) baby on the west side of the Rockies...
They might be found posing for the cover of Bicycling Magazine...
They might be found "gearing" up for a 36 mile bike ride (the first half with a whole heck of a lot of up hill)...
They might be found posing at the top of the hill...
They might be found resting at the top of the hill...
They might be found panting at the top of the hill (or in Molly's case eating...notice the smear of chocolate at the corner of her mouth. Get that girl a napkin)...
They might be found drinking Bahama Mama's on back deck at the cabin after a day of hard riding...
They might be found listening to music old school boom box style...
While watching the sexy gardener mow the lawn below...
They might be found celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary...
With some of their favorite peeps...
They might be found sampling the local brew at the local brewery...
They might be found over dramatizing the after effects of some super spicy salsa while eating at Pescado Blanco...
They might be found plopping down in the driveway after a 4 mile run and not being able to inch their beefy haunches over to the water dish so they have to have the water dish come to them...
They might be found hiking the Danny On Trail on the beautiful Big Mountain (if they were a boy...if they were a girl they would be found shopping and movie-going)...
They might be found enjoying the summit...
And marveling in the beauty of the bear grass...
They might be found rocking softly...
They might be found rocking hard...
They might be found having a jam session in their living room...Hey Jude, Hey Jude, Hey Jude-a-Jude-a-Jude-a-Jude-a-owww-wowww...
They might be found conquering 4 miles of constant (pretty darn steep) uphill to the Big Mountain ski resort. 75 minutes up (about 60 for Jason) and 8 minutes down...
...read on for more adventures and fun...
