What Is Old, Is New Again...

The yellow fabric is new, everything else I cut and pasted from an apron I found in my gramma's basement. That Annika is going to be so very retro!

Model in motion...
Original pocket in front...
Sweet ties in back ...In the past two days I have made 26 snack baggies (helping out a friend who is working on stocking her Etsy store...more to come on that), 4 skirts and did a bit of mending. Now I just might put my sewing machine away for a much needed rest. Until, that is, my two new books
Weekend Sewing and Sewing Green arrive in the mail. Oh goodie goodie gumdrops!!!

You are the BEST for sewing all those! My pictures are still turning out like crap! I am going to take more in the morning in a different "light". But the staged ones with a few bags in the picture turned out good...cheesy..but good. I copied other peoples pictures!

Wow Stacey!! You've been a busy girl. That retro skirt is REALLY, REALLY cute. Nice work.

What a good friend you are. Would you come and sew for me?

Excited to see more on 2lil frogs...

I have both of those books on my waiting list at the library right now. Be sure and read the errata page on weekend sewing when you choose a project from that book. I've heard it's lovely, but full of errors. I just looked at a friend's copy of sewing green and cannot WAIT to get that book.
