Quick Hide the Booze, the Kids Are Back...
After almost 4 days of kid free living, the little ones pulled into town. We had missed their little blond heads and their great big hugs. Now we could do all those great kids activities like...
Hittin' the beach...
Sandy fun...
Dig, dig, dig...
That evening Allen wowed us once again with his mad guitar skills and Molly with her mad dance moves. Molly is a Lutheran pastor and Allen is a youth director. They have plenty of vacation bible schoolesque songs up their sleeves...
The girls (and adults alike) were transfixed...
Learning the moves. Who knew Jesus was so funky? Ooo, ooo, ooo. Ooo, ooo, ooo, ooo.
Taking a breather...
Molly and her fan club. Allen and his groupies...
Teaching Mommy the moves...
After this picture was snapped and Molly and Allen rode off across the mountains, Annika sat down on the step and cried. I felt the same way, Annika...
We Lovetts love Molly and Allen...
One of the great things about Whitefish is that in the summer there is plenty of sun and plenty of restaurants with patios...
Papa and his girls...
Nana and her girls...
I love summer vacation...
Since we would be traveling on the 4th of July we set off our fireworks early. I am not sure if the knee highs are for protection or fashion...
That is a loud one. You will never find Lena buying the big ones on the reservation and blowing up anthills. That girl is a cautious one!
Oooooo...pretty...
Sparkler fun. She is having fun, right? That is a smile on her face, isn't it?
Hurry Daddy...get out of the way. Who knows how high the $15 family pack will shoot...
Hooray for the 4th of July...
Is that the Mini Cuckoo I hear?
Ooooo...Ahhhh...
Last day of vacation. We are (not so) ready to head out. The dogs are loaded, the cooler is packed, Annika will soon be crying because she misses Nana and Papa, and we are "looking forward to" the 10+ hour car ride...
Thanks for a wonderful summer trip, Nana and Papa...
We are standing on the piece of property next to the cabin. It is ours and someday we hope to build a vacation home of our very own. This picture makes me laugh because the way Jason and I are positioned we look way bigger than the girls and they look like our little hand puppets. This picture also makes me laugh because when Lena looked at it she said, "Yeah that is weird because you look like you have a baby in your belly." Thanks little puppet! In my defense, I am pretty sure it is not a baby and just muy mas amounts of Bahama Mama's and Mexican food. It isn't a good vacation if you don't gain 5 pounds. Am I right or am I right, ladies...
